Update: Last month, sneaker enthusiasts were abuzz with rumors about the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” returning in 2025. Given that eight years have passed since its last release, the timing seemed perfect. However, zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files have now confirmed that this beloved model will not be re-released next year. Instead, sneakerheads can look forward to a fresh “Bloodline” colorway, shown in a mock-up via the Instagram post embedded below. This new design will feature a black and red palette, reminiscent of the 2019 Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bloodline.” Stay tuned for an exclusive first look at this upcoming release.

Original Story: Although we’re only partway through 2024, leaks from Jordan Brand’s 2025 lineup are already making headlines. Following the reveal of the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” returning in 2025, rumors also hinted at the comeback of the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game.” This black-and-red version of Michael Jordan’s 12th signature shoe gained fame after MJ’s legendary 38-point game against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals while battling the flu. The “Flu Game” originally debuted in 1997 and was last re-released in 2016.

With its iconic Chicago Bulls-inspired black and red color scheme and storied history, the “Flu Game” remains one of the most celebrated Air Jordans.
